Certificate Policy

How BisaPrompt certificates are earned, issued, verified, corrected, and revoked.

A certificate is the part of BisaPrompt most likely to be read by someone else: a recruiter, a client, your manager. So its rules are written here on their own rather than tucked between other clauses.

Language: this is a courtesy translation. The Indonesian version is the controlling version. Article 31 of Law No. 24 of 2009 requires agreements involving Indonesian parties to be made in Indonesian; where this translation and the Indonesian text differ, the Indonesian text governs.

1. What a certificate states

A BisaPrompt certificate states that its holder completed — and, where the programme requires it, passed the assessment for — the BisaPrompt programme named on it.

Unless the programme expressly says otherwise, a BisaPrompt certificate is not:

  • an academic degree;
  • a government-issued certification;
  • a professional licence;
  • a guarantee of professional competency;
  • a guarantee of employment, income, or hiring eligibility.

In short: a certificate proves you completed this programme at BisaPrompt. That much — and it means something precisely because we do not overstate it.

2. Eligibility

Eligibility arises when you meet the completion requirements of the course in question. Those requirements are set per course and shown on it — typically completing all required lessons and, where required, passing the course assessment.

Pass scores and attempt limits are set per assessment, not by a single platform-wide number.

3. Issuance requirements

Three things must be true for a certificate to be issued:

  1. You are eligible under section 2.
  2. You have filled in the name to print on the certificate.
  3. You hold an active paid membership at the time of issuance.

Some programmes issue automatically once all three are true. Others leave the certificate claimable, so you decide when to issue it.

Learning can be free; a certificate does not automatically come free with it. Completing a free course makes you eligible, but issuance still requires an active paid membership.

There is no standalone certificate purchase. Certificates are not sold apart from membership, carry no price of their own, and have no per-certificate payment path. What you pay for is membership; a certificate is one of the things membership opens. If that changes, the change is published as a new version of this policy before it takes effect.

4. The name on the certificate

The printed name comes from the certificate name field on your profile, not from your display name. A display name may be a pseudonym; the certificate name must be your real name.

Enter it with the spelling you want printed. The same name appears on the public verification page.

5. Certificate language

Certificates are available in Indonesian and English. You choose the language on your profile. This affects the certificate only — the application interface remains in Indonesian.

6. Credential ID

Every certificate carries a credential ID in the format BP-YYYY-MMDD-XXXXXX, with six random symbols at the end.

It is not a sequence. Holding one ID does not let anyone guess another, and the number of certificates we have issued cannot be inferred from it.

7. Verification and QR code

Every certificate carries a verification link and a QR code pointing at the public verification page.

The verification page shows: credential ID, recipient name as printed, course title, completion date, issuer, partner if any, and validity status.

It does not show email, phone number, internal account ID, transaction reference, assessment answers, address, date of birth, or any government identifier.

Verification pages are not indexed by search engines and are not in the sitemap. They are open to anyone holding the credential ID — usually because you gave it to them.

8. Partner programme certificates

Programmes run with a partner may produce certificates carrying the partner's logo and signatory alongside BisaPrompt's.

The issuer is always BisaPrompt. A partner is a programme collaborator, not the issuer of the certificate. A partner's identity appears only where the collaboration genuinely exists and both sides have agreed.

9. Corrections

If your certificate contains an error — spelling of your name, course title, or date — contact us with the credential ID.

Corrections are made by issuing a replacement certificate, not by editing an issued document. The old certificate is marked invalid and superseded, so the verification link always shows the true position.

10. Name changes

If your legal name changes, we can issue a replacement certificate in the new name.

The evidence we ask for. One official document showing the old and the new name — a court order for a change of name, or a new identity card shown alongside the old one.

We look at that document to verify it, then do not keep it. What we record is that a name change was verified, by whom, and when. Holding a copy of your identity document in order to correct one line of text is data we do not need.

11. Replacement copies

Your certificate remains downloadable from your account while the account is active. Losing the file does not mean losing the certificate.

12. Counterfeit certificates

Counterfeiting a BisaPrompt certificate, altering an issued one, or producing a document resembling one is a serious breach of the Terms & Conditions and may be unlawful.

The verification page is the authoritative reference. A certificate that does not verify there is not a BisaPrompt certificate.

13. Revocation

We may revoke a certificate where:

  • eligibility was obtained through assessment cheating or manipulation;
  • our system issued it in error;
  • it was issued against a false identity;
  • another reason recorded in our revocation reason list applies.

A revoked certificate still appears on the verification page, marked revoked with its reason. This is deliberate: removing a certificate from verification entirely would make forgery easier, not harder.

Where possible we notify the holder before revoking and give them a chance to respond.

14. Expiry

BisaPrompt certificates do not expire. A certificate states that you completed a programme on a date, and that fact does not go out of date. What can age is the material, not your completion — and the completion date is printed on the certificate, so a reader can judge for themselves how current the material was.

A certificate stops being valid only through revocation, as described in section 13.

15. Verification data and account deletion

Closing your BisaPrompt account does not by itself delete the verification record of an issued certificate.

The reason protects you: a certificate that cannot be verified cannot prove anything. What is retained is limited to the minimal data shown on the verification page.

How long. Verification records are kept indefinitely, limited to the minimal fields in section 7.

If you want that record removed, ask through the contact channels on this page. We meet the request by revoking the certificate: it then stops being valid and cannot be used as proof. We say that consequence first, because people often mean "keep my certificate valid" when they ask to have the record deleted.

16. What a certificate does not promise

We say it again, because this is the part most often misread: a BisaPrompt certificate does not guarantee you a job, an income, a promotion, hiring eligibility, recognition by another institution, or a licence to practise any profession.

17. Contact

Questions about certificates, corrections, or verification go through the Contact block on this page. Include the credential ID if your question concerns a specific certificate.
