Payment & Refund Policy

How payment works, and when your money comes back.

Version
1.0
Effective

Last updated

In short: our mistakes are refunded in full. Duplicate payments are refunded. A digital product you have not opened can be cancelled within 7 days. One you have opened cannot, because the service has been delivered. Every request is processed within 14 working days.

Language: this is a courtesy translation. The Indonesian version is the controlling version. Article 31 of Law No. 24 of 2009 requires agreements involving Indonesian parties to be made in Indonesian; where this translation and the Indonesian text differ, the Indonesian text governs.

1. Scope

This policy covers all payments to BisaPrompt: memberships, digital products such as e-books, and paid programmes or events where offered.

2. Currency and pricing

All prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

The total you will pay — after coupons, discounts, or promotions — is shown before you proceed to the payment page. No charge appears after you press pay.

The price shown is the final amount. If BisaPrompt's tax status changes such that Value Added Tax must be collected, that component will be shown separately at checkout before you pay.

3. Billing model

Membership is prepaid for a fixed duration and does not renew automatically.

There is no recurring billing. When the duration ends, access stops on its own until you choose to pay again. We hold no debit mandate and cannot charge you without an action by you.

4. Payment provider

Payments are processed by Xendit. Available methods are those enabled on BisaPrompt's Xendit account and shown at checkout.

Xendit is a payment processor. The learning service is provided by BisaPrompt, and the agreement about the service remains between you and BisaPrompt.

We do not list the methods here, because that list can change without changing this policy. What applies is what appears on the payment page when you transact.

5. Payment states

StateMeaningEffect on access
Successfulthe provider confirms funds receivedaccess activates once our system receives the verified confirmation
Pendingpayment created, confirmation not yet receivedaccess not active
Failedpayment declinedaccess not active; you can start a new order
Expiredthe payment link passed its time limitthe order does not proceed; create a new one

Returning to BisaPrompt from the payment screen does not by itself activate access. Activation happens only through a verified notification from the payment provider.

6. Refund framework

This section sets out every type of event we recognise, with your right and our deadline for each.

6.1 Duplicate payment

You are charged more than once for the same transaction.

Our position: the excess is refunded in full, unconditionally and without deduction. This is not a purchase you cancelled; it is money that should not have moved.

Timing: processed within 14 working days of our verifying the duplicate. There is no deadline for raising it — a duplicate payment is still a duplicate whenever you notice it.

6.2 Payment succeeded, service not delivered

Payment is confirmed but you do not receive what you bought, because of a technical failure on BisaPrompt's side.

Our position: we fix it first — give you the access you paid for.

That window is 7 working days from your report. If you still have not received what you bought by then, you are entitled to a full refund and need not wait longer. You may also choose to wait longer if you prefer; that choice is yours, not ours.

6.3 Certificate could not be issued due to system failure

You meet every requirement and have paid, but the certificate cannot be issued because of a failure on our platform.

Our position: as in 6.2 — repair first, and a full refund if the certificate still cannot be issued within 7 working days because of our error.

6.4 You change your mind

The purchase is cancelled at your own choice, not because of an error by us.

Our position, and its limit: what decides it is whether the service has been accessed.

SituationYour right
Membership, no paid material openedfull cancellation within 7 calendar days of payment
Membership, paid material openednot cancellable — the service has been delivered
E-book, not opened and not downloadedfull cancellation within 7 calendar days of payment
E-book, opened or downloadednot cancellable
Programme or event, before it startsfull cancellation up to 3 calendar days before the start date

Why. Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019 requires a business to allow at least 2 working days for cancellation or exchange. We allow 7 calendar days, longer than that obligation. The "accessed" line is used because a digital product cannot be returned like goods — once read, its contents have moved.

Your rights under Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection apply in full, and the table above does not reduce them.

6.5 Programme cancelled by BisaPrompt

A paid programme, event, or class is cancelled by us.

Our position: participants are entitled to a full refund of the part not delivered, or to a reschedule if they prefer. The choice is yours.

Timing: processed within 14 working days of the cancellation being announced. You do not need to ask — a refund for a programme we cancelled starts from our side.

6.6 Suspected fraudulent transaction

A transaction suspected of being made without the payment instrument holder's authority.

Our position: handled under the payment provider's procedures and applicable law. We may suspend access while the matter is examined, and restore it if the suspicion is not substantiated.

6.7 Disputes and chargebacks

You raise a dispute through your bank or payment provider.

Our position: a chargeback is not automatically treated as user fraud. We respond to disputes with transaction and usage evidence, and accept the outcome of the applicable procedure.

We still encourage you to contact us first: most cases are settled faster without a dispute procedure.

6.8 Payment provider outage

An outage at the payment provider leaves a payment debited but unconfirmed.

Our position: we reconcile against the provider's records. If the funds were genuinely received, access is granted. If not, the funds are returned through the provider's channel.

7. How to request

Request through the Contact block on this page, stating: order reference, date, amount, and the reason.

We verify that a request comes from the account holder before processing it.

Our deadlines. A request is answered within 3 working days of receipt. If approved, funds are processed within 14 working days of approval. If declined, we give the reason in writing along with how to appeal.

8. Where refunds go

Refunds are returned to the original payment method, through the payment provider. When the funds actually arrive depends on your bank or e-wallet provider and is outside our control.

We do not refund in XP, internal balance, or platform credit. Money that comes back comes back as money. Platform credit in place of a refund is a way of keeping a customer's funds inside the system, and we do not offer it.

9. Refunds and issued certificates

The rule depends on why the refund happened.

  • Our error (6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.5, 6.8): an issued certificate stays valid. You met the requirements; the mistake was ours, and revoking a certificate over our own error would punish the wrong party.
  • Cancellation by your choice (6.4): a certificate issued under a membership that is being refunded is revoked, and the revocation shows on the verification page. Leaving it valid would make certificates obtainable without paying.
  • Fraud (6.6): the certificate is revoked.

We tell you about this consequence before processing a refund that would revoke a certificate, so you can withdraw the request if the certificate matters more to you than the money.

10. Refunds and XP

Where a refunded purchase previously produced XP or a reward, we may record a balancing correction on the XP ledger. History is not deleted; the correction is recorded as its own entry.

11. Consumer rights

This policy does not reduce your rights under Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations. Where there is a conflict, mandatory consumer rights prevail.

The sources used in drafting this policy: Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, in particular Article 4 on consumer rights and Article 18 on prohibited standard clauses; and Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019 on Trading Through Electronic Systems, in particular the obligations to provide a cancellation window and a refund mechanism.

What changed in this version: Final version, up from the 0.9 framework. Every commercial term is settled: a 7 calendar-day cancellation window (beyond the 2 working-day minimum in Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019), a 3 working-day response, 14 working-day processing, a change-of-mind rule based on whether the service has been accessed, and the treatment of an issued certificate when the payment behind it is refunded.
