Cookie Policy

This document explains what BisaPrompt stores in your browser. We call it "cookies" because that is the familiar word, but several of the items are browser local storage (localStorage), which is never sent to our servers.

It complements the Privacy Policy, particularly section 15.

1. The principles we apply

Three, and we apply them literally:

1. Essential things run without asking. Without a session cookie you cannot stay signed in. Asking permission for something the service cannot work without is not a real choice.
2. Non-essential things wait for consent. Analytics scripts load only after you agree — not loaded first and switched off afterwards.
3. Refusal sticks. If you have declined on a device, that refusal is honoured.

We do not run third-party advertising pixels, and we do not run cross-site tracking advertising.

2. Essential cookies

Essential cookies cannot be turned off from inside the application. You can still block them in your browser settings, with the consequence that you cannot stay signed in.

3. Preferences stored in your browser

The following are stored in your browser's localStorage. None of them is sent to our servers, and none can be read by another site.

Clearing site data in your browser removes all of it. The cost is small: you will be asked about analytics again, and appearance preferences return to their defaults.

4. Analytics, on consent

We use Google Analytics to understand which parts of the platform confuse people and which work.

On the public site bisaprompt.com, a banner asks for your consent. The Google Analytics script does not load before you agree.

In the application app.bisaprompt.com, analytics run on the basis of the agreement you gave when completing onboarding. We do not show the banner again there, because the question has been answered. But if you ever pressed Decline on that device, your refusal wins: the script does not load.

When analytics are active, Google sets its own cookies (typically prefixed _ga) to distinguish visits. Those cookies are set by Google and governed by Google's policies.

We send the page path without the query string, because a query string can carry tokens or private state.

5. Changing your choice

• On the public site: clear site data for bisaprompt.com; the banner returns on your next visit.
• In the application: clear site data for app.bisaprompt.com to reset the stored decision.
• At browser level: every modern browser offers settings to block or clear cookies and site storage.

We state the limit plainly: there is no in-app cookie preference centre yet, so changing the analytics decision is done through browser settings as above. When that preference centre exists, this section is updated and the version raised.

6. Third-party cookies

Beyond Google Analytics above, third-party cookies can appear when:

• you make a payment, on Xendit's payment page — set by Xendit under their policies;
• you sign in with Google — set by Google on Google's domains.

We do not set cookies on third-party domains, and those third parties do not set cookies on ours.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy carries a version number and an effective date. If we add a new technology that stores something in your browser, the tables above are updated first and the version is raised.
